Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will now be seen on Ke Hobey Banglar Kotipati, the Bengali version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is hosted by former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.
In a country where Bollywood and cricket are like two Gods worshipped, it is no surprise that the two stars get along
so well. While Sourav may be known better for his association with Shah Rukh Khan (thanks to KKR), Aamir-Sourav too have a story.
Aamir SouravApparently, Aamir had earlier tried to break into the former Ganguly's Behala residence in the guise of a fan during his promotional trip for 3 Idiots and then the two allegedly bonded at a common wedding ceremony as well, a leading daily reported.
Since Aamir is already on the hotseat, what about SRK and Sallu? "Inviting guests is the channel's prerogative, but I think why just Salman, it would also be great having Aamir and Shah Rukh in the hotseat," the cricketer said.
"Yes, Aamir is all set to be part of the show. Sourav had met the actor during his recent visit. They have known each other since Sourav's Team India days. Even though Aamir's dates were a problem, as the actor is busy promoting his forthcoming production, Delhi Belly, things have fallen into place.," unit member Anilava Chatterjee confirmed.
