The mighty US website ComingSoon.net are reporting that Dan Scanlon, he who directed the Pixar short Mater and the Ghostlight, will make his feature helming debut with the recently announced prequel to MONSTER’S INC, MONSTER’S UNIVERSITY.
The planned film will feature the voices of John Goodman and Billy Crystal, with the story focussing in on how their characters Sulley and Mike became friends at University.
Scanlon has also acted as a story artist on both CARS and TOY STORY 3.
The flick has a release date set for November 2nd 2012. It will be released in both 2D and 3D formats.
